Construction at The Merewether Residences continued to build momentum throughout July, with several important milestones achieved as foundation works progressed across the site and the project moved closer to commencing above-ground construction.

Detailed excavation for footing and pile foundations continued steadily throughout the month, while reinforcement and concrete works commenced within the first construction zone, marking another significant step forward in the project’s foundation phase. Strong progress was also made below ground, with the basement stair and lift core for Building D now complete, alongside continued blockwork to the western retaining wall. With these critical elements now in place, the project is preparing for its first basement slab pour in the coming weeks, bringing construction one step closer to emerging above ground.

Over the coming month, detailed excavation and underground service installation will continue progressing towards the eastern end of the site, ahead of the majority of the basement slab being poured. Following this milestone, construction will transition into its next major phase as columns supporting the Level 1 suspended slab begin to rise. This will mark an exciting turning point for the project, with the first elements of The Merewether Residences starting to emerge above ground and bringing the vision for the community another step closer to life.

August marked a significant step forward at The Merewether Residences, with the first tower crane installed and the first basement slab poured. These milestones bring the project closer to its next phase of construction, as work begins to move beyond the foundations.

Progress continued across the site throughout the month, with 170 pile caps and footings now poured. Excavation of the northern footing also advanced, allowing reinforcement work and the first concrete pour in this area to begin. Below ground, all basement-level stair and lift cores have now been poured, laying the groundwork for the structure above.

Looking ahead to September, the second tower crane is scheduled to be installed, joining the first to support construction of the residences and clubhouse. Three further basement slab pours are planned, while reinforcement of the first structural columns will begin and work on the stair and lift cores will extend towards Level 1. As these elements take shape, The Merewether Residences will begin its transition from foundation works to above-ground construction.

September and October saw construction progress at The Merewether Residences, with the second tower crane installed in October and nine basement concrete pours now completed. With both cranes operational, the team has increased capacity to move materials across the site and support the next stage of construction as the buildings begin to rise.

Work continued across the lower levels, with underground services being installed and formwork and steel reinforcement underway in preparation for the first podium slab pour. Construction of the future 3rd and 4th golf greens has also commenced, with these works continuing through to the end of the year.

Looking ahead to November, the first podium slab pour is scheduled for early in the month, marking an important step towards above-ground construction. Further basement slab pours and underground services installation will continue through November and December, while formwork and reinforcement will progress upwards as the next sections of the structure take shape. The Merewether Residences remains on track for completion in Q3 2027.
